Mikey

Other than the piano, he also learned the bass, drums, and other percussion related instruments. He also took up the alto saxophone for 2 years in middle school. His exposure to classic jazz, smooth jazz, blues and latin/tropical music further increased his ability in the keys.

In 1994, he moved with his family and recent born sister Bianca to Puerto Rico. Mikey was 15. In P.R., Mikey became more familiar with latin jazz and afro Cuban jazz. His favorite artists include Michel Camilo, George Benson, David Sanborn, Joe Sample, among others. In 2002, he relocated back to New York City. In 2003 he joined All In Christ. He was part of AIC's first album. This was his first recording experience. Since joining AIC, Mike's music has reached new heights and has become broader.
