Born and raised in Brooklyn , New York . Tim learned how to play the guitar in the small pentecostal church he grew up in. He supplemented his musical education with instructional material from the library and the christian records they had at the home, which were all mostly spanish.

He played in all sorts of church bands and played at tons of services, weddings, engagement parties, "vijilias," all for free, but it was a lot of fun. His influences at the time were Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and a also several local spanish christian artists.

As he grew older, he got more serious about music and started getting into jazz and lstening to all sorts of jazz guitarists such as george benson, joe pass, pat martino, barney kessel just to name a few. All the time, he was still playing with all sorts of bands and people.

At the age of 19, he met his hero, Jazz guitarist Pat Martino and was profoundly impacted. He would go see him play live every chance he got. He studied with him off and on before and after Pat Martinos near brush with death following a brain hemorrhage.

After that, he went on to study with John Scofield , Rodney Jones and various other musicians.

In 1981, he wrote a song for jazz guitarists Bobby Brooms debut album on Arista/Grp records. The song was entitled "Clean Sweep" and it was the title song of the cd. It received some attention on r & b and jazz stations throughout the country. He also wrote a tune for Broom's Second release entiteled "magic johnson."
In the 80's , he played with a gospel/jazz/R & B band called "rebirth", from there he played with various local jazz and r & b artists.

In the 90's, he recorded with house music producer Lil Louie Vega on various house remix albums including a remix of Donna Summers " I feel love.

For a portion of the 80's and 90's, Tim had developed an addiction to alcohol and drugs and in 1995 admitted himself into a rehab.
In the year 2001, 2 years after his older sisters death, Tim decided to return to the Lord and gave his heart back To Jesus Christ.

Since then he has been involved in various projects. In the year 2004, he recorded at Crossroads Tabernacle in the Bronx. The album was entitled "Hymns, the Higher standard". It was to celebrate the opening of the Boden center, Crossroads music school in which Tim teaches every monday.

Recently, he ministered with gospel artist Joann Rosario at a Youth Camp run by D.U.I ministries.

He is now a member of an awesomely anointed unit that goes by the name of "ALL IN CHRIST" and is also the guitarist for Arca de Salvacion in Oceanside, NY. he also plays on fridays at Christ Tabernacle.
