Luis Nehemias Pacheco
Raised in New York City. Native country: Dominican Republic. Born September 16, 1978. Luis A. Sr. & Isabel, parents of Luis, migrated to the U.S. in search of a better life for their children. His father always made time to teach him music notes on the guitar. At the age of 11 his father introduced him to an instrument that up to now he still enjoys playing: the saxophone. His motivation to prolong playing his best comes from his desire to praise God. Luis’ talent was developed at his church, Cruzada de la Fe and All In Christ. Saxophone players who have influenced Luis N. Pacheco are: Ed Calle, Paquito De Rivera and Kirk Whalum.
