All in Christ is a gospel jazz group that has been dedicated to worshiping GOD and spreading the gospel through the gift of music.
AIC has been together for approximately six years. Five of AIC’s current members (Jose, Chamo, Nehemias, Freddy and Junior) formed part of a choir that was established by the Brooklyn section of AJAIC (the youth organization of Assembly of Christian churches). Unfortunately, the choir was short-lived. We then decided that we should not let our talents go to waste and we put All in Christ together.
AIC is composed of the following members: Samuel “Chamo” Gonzalez (Bass), Ezra Henry (Drums), Tim Reyes (Guitar), Jose Lugo (Keyboards), Luis N. Pacheco (Saxophone) and Luis A. Pacheco Jr. (Trumpet). Other All In Christ artist include Freddy Nunez (2nd guitar), Misael “Mikey” Vale (keyboards) and Jeff “Tito” Zayas (percussion). After years of practicing and gigging, AIC was blessed with the opportunity to record our first album titled When I Call You. The album has a variety of music styles ranging from ballads to latin Jazz, funk, cool jazz and others.
In the present time, AIC is self-promoting this production. AIC has performed in different venues around the tri-state area, predominantly churches, concerts and weddings. In September of 2005, AIC received an invitation from the BET Bobby Jones Gospel show. The show was aired in November. AIC was honored to share the stage with Andre Crouch and Bobby Jones and other excellent performers. The show has aired two times since then. In April of 2006, AIC served as the house band for the Heritage Awards sponsored by Dr. Jacqueline E. McCullough and hosted by Ms. Toya Beasley of 98.7 KISS FM. There, the band delivered their musical expertise for distinguished artists such as Pastor Marvin Winans, Cece Winans and others who have contributed greatly to their communities. AIC has also performed with well known Spanish gospel artists such as Rene Gonzalez, Samuel Hernandez and Carlos Luciano. All In Christ greatly gives thanks to God for these opportunities and the blessings that are yet to come.
AIC is looking to expand into other parts of the U.S. and aspire to reach other parts of the world as well. AIC’s mission is to continue to spread the gospel and to introduce a new sound into the ever-growing jazz world.
